Hello.
I've been using Thunderbird without problems for years, but I've just discovered that one of my accounts can no longer send emails.
When I try to send an email, I get this error message:
Message sending failed.
Unable to communicate securely with the peer: the requested domain name does not match the server certificate.
The configuration related to smtp.gmx.com needs to be corrected.
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this?
Best regards.

Hello @Lorstrogoth
Make sure your outgoing server is set according to this:
https://support.gmx.fr/pop-imap/imap/windowsmailapp.html
Or change the outgoing server and use Gmail's outgoing server for example.

I changed "smtp.gmx.com" to "GMX Freemail - mail.gmx.com".
Problem solved.
Thank you very much!
