I can't flash the BIOS.

Hello, I'm writing on this forum because recently I've been having problems with my RAM which is only half utilized (I have 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill RAM, but out of 16GB, only 8GB is being used and the rest is reserved memory). So, I checked if the problem was hardware by testing each RAM stick, and they all work fine.
I think the issue with my RAM is caused by my BIOS being outdated, so I wanted to flash my BIOS with a newer version
(I have a B450 ASRock and I tried to flash my BIOS using an 8GB USB stick formatted in FAT32), but when I enter the BIOS and try to flash it, the following message appears:
No image file detected
The USB stick is detected because I can see it, but I can't flash it.
Thank you.

Hi
What did you put where (full name and file size?) on the USB stick?
Complete reference of the motherboard?
How many memory sticks and positioned in which slot?
What processor?
Current BIOS version and version you want to install?
What are you doing exactly to initiate the update? -
I also want to specify that I have already tried to adjust my RAM in the msconfig but nothing changes, still 8GB of RAM reserved in memory.

Hello, thank you for your help, but it seems that I have identified the problem and was able to update the BIOS of my motherboard (ASRock B450M Steel Legend)
However, I still have 8GB of RAM reserved and I still cannot use all of my RAM. -
The issue was my USB stick; I replaced it with another one that I formatted to FAT32, then I copied the new version of the BIOS onto it and updated by flashing my BIOS.
My motherboard is an Asrock B450M Steel Legend.
I have 2 sticks of 8GB RAM that I placed in slots A1 and B1.
I have a Ryzen 5 2600X, and my BIOS was version 2.90 and is now version 3.90.
