Hello, I'm posting this message here as well, because having posted it in "Mobile," maybe there will be people who can help me in this "Messaging" category too! :)
I received a text message on my iPhone from "Huawei," and when I click on the sender, it seems there is no number, making me think it might not be from the real Huawei.
This SMS gives me a confirmation code, even though I have never used Huawei or visited their site. With this confirmation code, it indicates that my phone number will be linked to a Huawei ID account, and then it specifies the Huawei ID with an email address mostly hidden by "****."
Is this a mistake by a Huawei user who entered my number? Or is my number linked to a Huawei account? (Since the verification code is in this SMS)
I look forward to your responses! :)

Hello,
As soon as we receive a code via SMS or email that we did not request... we must not respond (nor click on any link it may contain)...
Then, there are two scenarios...
Either we are not a user (or client...) of the indicated product (or site) and therefore => trash (it might be a mistake, but more likely it is a random phishing attempt...)
Or, we are a user (or client...) of the indicated product (or site) and in this case, as a precaution, we verify what is going on directly in our personal (client) area online and never by using the links provided in the SMS/email....

Have a good day!
Thank you and have a great day as well.
Thank you, I'm relieved because this week I received a text saying that they couldn't deliver my package. I quickly deleted it in a panic, and today I received a code from Xplora. ???????? Blocked it right away and reported it to Google. Maybe someone is using my phone number?
There is no need to worry, just don't follow up (see my advice here.)
It happens to everyone to receive one or more of these fake SMS... the targeted numbers are most often generated automatically "at random"... There are also lists exchanged/sold under the radar, of easily "exploitable" numbers (more naïve people, who are used to "following up"....) ... hence the usefulness again of never responding (or clicking on a link in the SMS or email...)
