I canceled my Netflix subscription 6 months ago, and yesterday I received a text message on my phone from "Netflix," sending me a Netflix confirmation code (a 6-digit code). I don't know why? I didn't request anything, and I haven't logged into Netflix since my cancellation. I want to point out that I received this text 6 months to the day after my cancellation date.
