I can't close OpenOffice.

Hello,
sometimes I can't close Open Office. I have to shut down my PC and when I turn it back on, I have to recover the files. Thank you for your responses.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 86.0

    Try to be more explicit.
    Can't you exit OpenOffice?
    Instead of shutting down the PC, use the Ctrl+Alt+Delete combination to force quit.
    Following which action?
    When you reopen the application, is it this message that prompts you to recover the file(s)?
