Hello,
I just bought an old Sharp TV 48XE and on all channels it shows "incompatible video signal"
I haven't found anything coherent in the manual to fix it
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you in advance
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 14.0.3

Hello,
The given reference is incomplete... see the information sheet on the back.
If this television is too old, it is quite possible that it is no longer compatible with the MPEG4 broadcasting standard which has been in effect since April 5, 2016.

Yes
Actually, it’s the 46X8E from Sharp
Sorry for the lack of precision
Best regards

The audio is good but there's no picture (incompatible video signal on all channels).
TV source activated (and not EXT)
TV previously used 100% in game console mode
Thank you for your help

Excerpt from https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-SHALC46X8E-SHARP-LC-46X8E.htm<< Important information about the SHARP LC-46X8E TV
HD TNT :
Since April 5, 2016, in France, TNT channels are broadcast in a format NOT compatible with the SHARP LC-46X8E.
This device is compatible with the MPEG2 format (used for SD format channels), but incompatible with the new MPEG4 format used (generally used for HD)>>
To make this television work, it is imperative to purchase an HD TNT decoder to connect to an HDMI input or to connect it to a TV box.
