Sound issue with my Speaker (Connexant ISST Audio) Solved/Closed

MY PC:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz
HP - HP EliteBook 840 G3 (64bits)

Hello, after updating my graphics card with a modded driver (to boost the VRAM), I cannot use my computer's speakers

Normally I can manage on my own, but this time I can't find a solution.

Hello,

Device Manager
Go to audio, video and game controllers
Right-click on --> Conexant audio
Uninstall
Check --> remove the device
Uninstall

Windows + R
Type --> control panel and OK

Programs and Features
Uninstall --> Conexant audio, if present
Restart the pc.

Try this driver --> Conexant

Press Windows + R Type --> winver and OK  What version is it?  Example image:   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

Perform a system restore and choose a date prior to the issue, that is before the update.  Windows + R Type --> rstrui.exe and OK.   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

The problem is that I don't want to do a restore because I won't have my modified graphics card anymore, and if I put it back in, I'll still have the same problem.

That my laptop's speakers aren’t working, surely by doing a restore it will work, but it bothers me because I want to keep the modified driver of my graphics card.

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits  Download this driver -->  Conexant  Right-click on the driver --> db100a39.....cab Select --> 7Zip Choose --> extract to "db100a39.....\"  Go to the device manager Right-click on the device Update driver Browse my computer for drivers Select from a list of drivers... Have Disk Browse Go to the extracted driver folder --> db100a39..... Select the file --> cisstrt.inf and OK. Restart.   -- Humans are at their best when things are at their worst.
