4G for online gaming with a console?

Hello, I'm 17 years old, so my dad broke the box (and the TV in the process, due to a dispute with my mom), and now thanks to my SIM card I have freewifisecure on my phone, so it's not a problem. But since I can't play online with my Switch Lite anymore, I plan to get a 200GB/month 4G plan (my training pays for it, so I have the money), and then I'll use a hotspot for my Switch. Do you think I could play online games like Smash Bros without lag?? Also, will 100GB be enough for use solely on the Switch?? Given that this plan will only be for my Switch and that I rarely install games, don't watch YouTube on it, and updates are pretty rare, I just play online (on my Switch). And will I have to create a hotspot for my Switch? Is there no other convenience or way? Like getting the connection directly on the console.
So if there are other solutions, I’m all ears.
