Facebook app display issue on tablet

Hello,

For a few months now, I've been seeing this display on the Facebook app on my Samsung S5E tablet, which is really annoying because photos and other posts don't fully display. Before, I had a display with a blue border at the top and on the side, I had birthdays and other info.
I've cleared the cache, deleted the data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I don't know what else to do. I've searched the internet but found nothing. I'm attaching a screenshot to show you; it really looks like I have a phone display on my tablet.
