Screen issue: "Check video cable" Solved

Question

Hello!  Recently, I built my PC, everything seems to be going well during startup except that the screen shows "Check video cable."  At first, I thought the problem was the monitor, but when I tested it on another screen, the same problem occurred: "No signal." However, the graphics card seems to be functioning well; I removed it and reinserted it just in case it was poorly connected.  Now I'm turning to you; I have no idea where the problem might be coming from. If anyone has solutions for this, I'd appreciate it! If you need different information such as photos or references, don’t hesitate to ask! Thanks.

Good evening,  Not simple ... it's vague, yes, sending a photo etc. would be good so we can visualize and get an idea.  No display ... Are you properly plugged into your GPU outlet and not the motherboard one? Is your RAM securely clipped in? Good evening!  First of all, thank you for this quick response!  As for the specifications, I have:  Processor: Intel Core i7-10700KF (3.8 GHz) Motherboard: ASRock Z490 PHANTOM GAMING 4/AC Graphics Card: ASUS Graphic Card Dual DUAL-RTX2060-O6G-EVO - GeForce RTX 2060 - 6 GB GDDR6 (90YV0CH2-M0NA00) RAM: DDR4 G.Skill Ripjaws V Black - 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) 3600 MHz - CAS 18  To answer your questions, yes I have indeed connected the monitor to the graphics card, to the DVI port (the same for the monitor, DVI port) and yes, I'm absolutely sure that the RAM is properly clipped! For the HDMI and DP output, my screen doesn't have them, so I tested the HDMI output on another screen and it displays "No signal."  Yes, my power supply is more than sufficient; I built my configuration on Top Achat, which means that in principle all my parts are compatible with each other, but just in case, here is the reference for it: FSP Hydro PTM 650 - 650W.  And no, I am a beginner in PC building; it was my very first one, and I'm afraid I might have made a mistake in the assembly.  I hope we can find a solution; I had been waiting for months to get all the parts to assemble it, and I must admit that I’m a bit at my wits' end xD.

Hello. It's worth a try: remove the graphics card and connect to the motherboard. Did you install an HDD or SSD?

Is the processor and thermal paste properly in place?  Test at the lightest, one stick of RAM (to be tested even in different slots), without a hard drive, and so on...  A graphics card from your old PC with which you could do a test? Good evening!  I will try that at the end of the morning since I currently do not have the other screen with the HDMI port, I will keep you updated!  And to answer your question, yes I have a hard drive: Toshiba P300 3 TB, as well as an SSD as well: Kingston A2000 1 TB.

Re!  I tested by removing the hard drive as well as 3 RAM sticks (I also tried changing the slot for the stick) but once again the same problem persists.  However, the message that my screen displayed: "Check Video Cable" has disappeared and it's now just showing "No signal DVI" (I took a photo of an image I found on Google that is the same as what my screen displays except for the screen size)  I also took some photos of my setup as well as the socket where the DVI is plugged in (Not much to see since it's dark, sorry! If you need other more precise photos or anything, feel free to ask!)

Hello!  I'm here to share some good news! The screen has just turned on as well; I'm in the process of installing Windows 10.  The problem was probably with the hard drive because yesterday I unplugged it to test without it, and when I plugged it back in this morning, the screen started up too. There's probably an issue with the connection of the latter.  Thank you both for your replies; I definitely wouldn't have figured it out on my own, thank you very much!
