Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Black screen at idle

Hello,
I bought an R9 390 from a private seller a week ago. He confirmed to me that it was working perfectly and had tested it to show me without any issues, he never overclocked it and neither have I. The thing is, since yesterday I've noticed that when I'm watching videos on YouTube or browsing the web for several hours, I start to get black screens for a fraction of a second, and for the first time this morning, I had a definitive black screen that forced me to restart my computer. The thing is, it doesn't heat up at all (60° constant in games, 30° at idle) and in games, I have no issues. I saw on some forums that these cards have some problems with voltage; could someone please explain to me concretely? I just bought it and I don't want to throw it away given how much it cost me. Thank you very much.

Try to perform all available updates for your card on the Sapphire website.

Thank you for your quick response. The update has already been applied; I did it last night. Strangely, while installing it, my PC crashed completely, and I had to reset Windows... After that, the driver was indeed there, and it's the latest available... As I'm writing to you, I have, via MSI Afterburner, reduced the memory clock speed of the card, and for the moment I have been able to watch a video on YouTube without any problems (a movie, moreover), but how long will this last? If you could guide me on another solution, I would be grateful... I can confirm once again that these black screens only occur in idle mode (on Chrome or YouTube); when the card is running in games, I have no issues... Thank you again.

I pointed you in this direction because I had a similar black screen issue with a Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti. I updated the drivers on Nvidia's site, but the problem persisted. The issue was finally resolved by installing all available updates directly from the Gigabyte website.

I was told to do the same directly through the site, so I downloaded the latest driver and installed it, but as mentioned, I had black screens again this noon. However, since I lowered the memory clock frequency, it seems much better; I’m knocking on wood and touching monkey skin to hope it lasts a little while. Thank you again.
