Hello,
I don't know how to name the desired task, but I will explain
I want to insert a rectangle in the background of a paragraph in the text box and I want it to follow it.
Is this possible in InDesign?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
One possible solution is to use paragraph borders.
After selecting the part of the text that should have a background, choose the paragraph border option in the paragraph window settings. Then select the border from below or above and set a thickness greater than the body text. The borders for each line will overlap and create the illusion of a background block. The advantage is that if you modify the text block format, the background illusion will automatically adjust.
There must certainly be other possible solutions.
