For tethering, on the Huawei P30 Lite, go to mobile data network and then enter tethering. This activates the phone's visibility for tethering on the computer. Only when we initiate the connection request does a box open asking for a security key.

Indeed, in the tethering settings on your phone, there is a security option where you can change the password or choose not to set one.
