Hello,

Help me use the F4 key in Excel; when I press it, a projection system (PC screen only, duplicate, extend, etc.) appears. I'm using Windows 10 on HP

Configuration: Android / Chrome 87.0.4280.101

Hello,
And to complete, the F4 key is associated with the "Project" option on the HP keyboard.

To access the secondary functions, you need to press the [Fn] key (located at the bottom left of the keyboard) + F4 simultaneously.
The order of the functions can be set in the BIOS: access to [F4] first and then to "Project" using [Fn] or vice versa.

Thank you for the reply. However, I still don't have a solution. When I press as described, I still get "project" as a result.

Thank you

It's exactly what I want to do with this key, except that when I press F4 in Excel, it's the projection options (video projector) that appear.

If you double-click on the cell containing the formula and then press F4?

It's not working.

Is there a lock key for the [Fn] key like [Verr Fn] on the left side of the keyboard?

If so, by first pressing Fn and then Verr Fn, you can activate/deactivate the lock, which changes the behavior of the Fn key.

No. I don't have that key on the keyboard.

You have already tried [f4], then [fn] + [f4] ...
Now try [ctrl] + [f4] as well as [alt] + [f4]; and if nothing works, [shift] + [f4]; this last combination worked for a friend.

Computer manufacturers can't agree on a uniform choice!

Thank you, but it hasn't changed. Excel instead asked me if I want to save the workbook.

Hello, Kod228 :
If you're on a Mac, you shouldn't use F4, but Command + T
However, you told us, "I'm using a Windows 10 on HP". So I'm confused...
Have you checked the manual or help for your computer?
