Hello,
I am desperately looking for an API to implement a system for searching parts by license plate.
I know that this list is accessible only to automotive professionals, which is my case. It is for a website selling auto parts.
I found providers offering this service, but it is charged per search and it adds up very quickly! So I would like to know if it is possible to obtain the API for free (or with the purchase of a license) and to integrate it myself.

Free?? .. if it were possible... why would we bother paying....
I know Christmas is coming soon.. but still :-)
As for the use via the purchase of a License... if the providers you've found don't offer it... then it's probably because they don't.
But only they can answer that.
I have the impression that you think the API is just a script you can use..... but it's much more than that...
Behind it, there is a database fed by various services .. and to keep it up to date, there need to be people taking care of it and the payment of certain licenses.
By the way, I think VIN search is more reliable than license plate search..
