Hello,

I have a quick question regarding the connection of my box to the DTI socket in my house.
My house has RJ45 sockets in every room, but since I don’t know how to wire them, they are currently not being used.

Since I don't have much space to place my Freebox Revolution near the panel, it’s located in the living room and I am using the Wi-Fi from the box.

My question is: Is it possible to have internet on the other sockets in the house while keeping the box plugged in the living room?

If I understood correctly, the FT line comes through the DTI socket and is connected to the one in the living room (in the picture).

I’m not sure if I was clear enough.
Thank you for your help.
Christophe

    Hello,

In such a configuration, it is easier to place the box in this central unit and connect the 4 Ethernet outputs of the box to the wall socket departures.

If the box is in the living room, to bring the Ethernet down on the same cable as the ADSL, you would need to use 2 splitters: https://www.amazon.fr/NEUTRE-Doubleur-port-45-blind%C3%A9/dp/B00CIQRNO0/, this allows to run both the telephone/ADSL line and the Ethernet line (limited then to 100 Mbps) on the same cable, a splitter in the living room and one in the central unit. And on the Ethernet link coming from the box, add an Ethernet switch: https://www.amazon.fr/D-Link-GO-SW-5G-Switch-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B009TZE41I/
to distribute the Ethernet to the departures towards the wall sockets.

    Best regards
