Hello

It seems that this happens when the path to the folders is too long; by moving the folders to reduce the number of subfolders, it works.

But if anyone has also noticed this, it would be good for them to let us know.

Thank you.

Hi, you can try using WinRAR

I've never had a problem with Windows compression, but I use WinRAR, which gives you more compression options.

WinRAR is shareware and reminds you of that constantly. PeaZip works very well and is freeware.

Good evening
you can try with 7-zip, it's included in W10 (right mouse button)

Hello

Thank you for your response. In fact, I am using the application provided with Win10 as you mentioned; see the tutorial link here

Hello,

The simplest way is to install 7-zip:
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/2197-7-zip/

It will appear in the context menus of Windows Explorer (unless this option was disabled during installation).
It's simple and I have never encountered any problems zipping files.

Hello

Thank you, now that I've reorganized the folders, it seems to be working.....

If there are still issues, I'll install 7zip, but it annoys me to have to add applications because Windows 10 isn't doing its job.

Thank you
