CPU overheating 89 degrees in the BIOS

Hello,

My i7 8700k CPU overheated yesterday, and since then, when I go into the BIOS on startup, the CPU temperature keeps rising and stops around 89 degrees...

Today, I replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the Corsair Hydro H 45 water cooling, but
as I've read, we should be able to hear the sound of water circulating, but I can't hear it. Do you have a solution, please? Should I change my Corsair Hydro?

Thank you

Hi, you should slightly hear the pump operating normally.

I'm trying but I don't think so, I can't hear anything even while torturing the cables lol

    Hello,

I currently have the same issue; as soon as I enter the BIOS, the processor keeps heating up to 98° even though my AIO is working properly. I’ve cleaned the PC, cleared CMOS, and tried several things without success.

There is definitely an issue, maybe the contact between the processor and the water block is not done properly, or perhaps a change of thermal paste is necessary.
