Need help connecting an original Xbox

Hello everyone :) I took out my old Xbox from the closet and I want to play it, but nothing is working as expected. The power cable is fine, but I bought an AV cable and I can't connect it to my television despite the fact that it has the AV option in the source menu?? There doesn’t seem to be the appropriate ports and I find it super weird. I tried using an AV to HDMI adapter and that doesn't work either, which is even weirder. I don’t know what to do anymore. If anyone has suggestions...
