Hello,

I'm inserting a 'date' merge field from Excel, but in Word, it is transformed into a 5-digit number (43980).
Despite my attempts with Mergefield, I can't get it to work { MERGEFIELD Date \@ "dd MMMM yyyy" }.

I don't understand what is wrong.

I found it!
It's my Excel spreadsheet that had empty cells!
Thanks to everyone anyway.

Hello Odile,

I have the same issue as you that still persists, but I don't understand what you mean by "empty cells" in your Excel table.

Hello,
There should not be any empty rows or columns between the title and the table, for example.
