Freebox remote control issue

Hello! I hope you are doing well!
I have a problem with my Freebox. I found a lot of forums, but none that completely correspond to mine. Let me explain.
Initially, my remote control stopped working, so I downloaded a remote control app on Android without needing a code. But one day, I didn't have my Android with me, so I downloaded a remote control app on my computer, but I needed the code, which I didn't have. I searched for a technique and found a solution consisting of pressing the button on the back of the Freebox. We did it, but we didn't get any code. Since then, I have my Android back, but the Freebox is off, and the remote control hasn't worked since I tried this technique... I need to know the code for my remote control, but I can't turn on my Freebox. Please help me!

Hello,

The button behind the Player is used to reset it.
Normally, the Freebox should restart without any issues after the reset and go through the remote control pairing step.
Check the connections.
Look at the indicator light on the player.
And most importantly, check on the television which signal source is selected.

What is the model of the box?

The button is usually green but now it’s red and the Freebox is off, so even when I press the button, it doesn’t do anything. Not to mention I don’t have a remote control, just R0ro’s app.

In normal operation, a blue LED is lit, and when it is off, a red LED is displayed.
To turn on the Player, a remote control is absolutely necessary.

You can either get one from Free, or you can use a smartphone (even a low-end one). I recommend the app Freeteuse, which does not require a code and works very well. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

I don’t see any other solutions.

Thank you, but I already have an application. However, since I pressed the button on the back of the Freebox, it asked me to connect a remote control, but I couldn't do it with the computer, and since then the Freebox has turned off. As long as I don't have the remote control code, I can't do anything.

Apparently, it’s without solution.

It’s better for you to order a remote control from the Free store (€19.99 plus likely shipping costs).
It’s not too expensive, and anyway, it’s an item that must be returned to Free along with the box.
So sooner or later you will have to pay for it. You might as well do it now and enjoy it.

Hello,
Contact Free at 3244 or via FaceToFree, ask them to change your faulty remote control, they will send you a new one for free.
