I can't start The Sims 4 (PC)

Hello, I have a problem with my Sims 4 game. I bought it a while ago and I have a lot of expansions, but now when I log into my EA account, I can no longer play. It says "game not origin" and the play button is greyed out. If I can click on it, nothing opens, or it says "game activation" even though I already did it, so when I try to do it again, it says "game already activated". I don't know what to do. I have the base game on disk and the same issue occurs with The Sims 3. If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it because I've tried everything.

    Hi, I advise you to reinstall Origin first, making sure you have the latest version, then reinstall the game if that doesn't solve the problem.

    Contrary to the previous response, you still have to log in to your account.

    SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOG IN WITH YOUR EA ACCOUNT OR UNINSTALL THE GAME AND REINSTALL IT.
