Black screen

Hello,
Last night before going to bed my Snap was working normally and this morning when I woke up I opened Snap, clicked on it and I got a black screen with a one-centimeter white band at the top of the screen.
All day I've tried to access it and the same thing happens, it goes directly to a black screen with that white band.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it 2 or 3 times throughout the day but nothing works. I'm really desperate, I'm afraid I've lost everything and I don't know what else to do. Please help me ????

Hello, were you able to solve your problem with Snapchat? And if so, how? I have the same issue; I've turned it off, turned it back on, and reinstalled it, and still nothing, ugh!!!

Try uninstalling the app, restarting your phone, and reinstalling the app. It just worked for me, and yet I have an old iPhone SE with no updates available for it, so I don't think it's related to the version or updates for the phone. I think it's more of a bug coming from Snap.

Apparentely, if this is related to the last update, right after the updates, the people according to the message had iPhone 6s or higher, but updated the iPhone and then updated Snapchat. I updated my iPhone 6s to 13.5.1 and Snapchat afterwards, and still nothing... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, turning off my phone, whether it was off or holding the home button for 10 seconds while simultaneously pressing the power button to turn it back on without unlocking the SIM, nothing...

And also one thing I forgot to mention, I receive the notification when I have a Snap message but just like that, I click on it and it’s a black screen.

Hello, try clearing the cache in settings under all apps in Snap storage "clear cache" or uninstall and reinstall it!

(My Snap still hasn't opened and it's been 3 days this morning)
You advise me to clear the Snap cache, but I need to be able to enter the app which I cannot do. Because when I click on the Snap app, I directly get a black screen.
Can I do this manipulation through my phone (iPhone), or do I absolutely need to enter Snap to clear the cache ?????

It is true that on Android it is easier when I need to clear the cache of apps either one by one or all at once, I go to the general settings and choose "apps" "manage apps" by going to the concerned app at the bottom of the screen "clear data or clear cache"

Same for me since May 29, 2020 too... I'm afraid to uninstall the app and lose all my photos that I have on Snap...

Hello, I just had the problem, I uninstalled the app, turned off and restarted my phone, reinstalled the app and it works :-)

I contacted Snapchat but received no response. On their Snapchat problem forum, there have been 6 reports for this in less than 24 hours. I tried to log in on another phone, and it says my password is incorrect, and then it says my email address is incorrect, even though I only have one email address. So, even installing and uninstalling doesn't work...
