TV TCL U55C7006
Hello,
I recently purchased a TCL U55C7006 TV. I'm looking to set up my screen for the best possible image. I'm a novice in this area and couldn't find anything online for this model.
Do you have a link or some settings to calibrate my TV and achieve a nice picture? I find that the default picture sometimes gives an unpleasant rendering in certain situations (for example: scenes that take place at night, cartoons where it seems like the pixel count is relatively low).
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your response! For the basic settings, yes I've done that (colors / black settings / etc...).
I was also talking about other settings (for example, enabling or disabling Mix Dimming, etc...) which is like Chinese to someone who is a novice but also the settings to make the image more "sharp". -
Seen on another forum:
"Mix dimming is to be avoided because it controls brightness in real-time and it drains a lot.
Dynamic backlighting is a bit similar, I'm not a fan"

Hello,
Setting is a matter of personal taste; some will prefer a high-contrast image like in computer graphics, while others will prefer a softer image like in cinema. For color, the same applies; some will prefer saturated colors, while others will like more pastel tones.
Start with the contrast, then increase the brightness, and then tone it down to achieve blacks without burying the image.
