Hello,
I have a recent HP printer connected via Wi-Fi at home. I have an SFR THD box (I haven't touched the default configurations).
The problem statement is simple: When I want to print, whether from a wired desktop PC connected to the box or a Wi-Fi laptop (on Windows and Linux), when I start the print job, I receive an error message stating that the printer is offline.
- If I completely turn off and then turn on the printer, without doing anything else, it works again for a while.
- Or, if I uninstall the printer on the PC and search for the drivers again, it finds it, and printing works for a while.
As I mentioned, I have this problem on both Windows and Linux, even when I completely disable the firewall.
Another piece of information that may be important, I had exactly the same issue with another HP printer previously, which is why I bought a new one.
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Good evening,
The references for the hardware and version of Windows... and Linux are missing.
Model of the HP printer... Model of the SFR BOX... of the main PC
So your printer is on the network... if I understood correctly... Wi-Fi, but connected to the BOX, you should be able to print from any PC, tablet, or smartphone... Is that right?
What is the distance between the BOX and the printer? Are there concrete walls or a floor... or metal devices in between?
How many devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi in this house?
These are questions that need answers to better understand your context... and ultimately to be able to help you.
