Hello everyone,

I just found a 4G pocket box (Alcatel Link Zone MW40V) that I used last year
on summer vacation! What great memories during these times of confinement!

Before using it again, I am charging the battery by connecting the device via the USB cable to the mains and using its original charger.

But now, there are no signs of charging when checking the charge indicator located above the device.

Could it be that the pocket box, not having been used for almost a year, has led to
a "degradation" of the battery? Or should we consider a hardware failure, in which case we will need to see if it’s worth repairing based on the repair costs? Or should I "simply" buy a new battery? (1800mAh)

Thank you in advance for your advice, and take care!

Best regards,

Eric

    Hi,
at this point, all the options you are considering are possible: faulty charger, dead battery, broken device,
If the battery is removable, you can certainly try another one.
But maybe a little patience would be enough :-)
