Hello,

I am on Windows 10 and using Opera, which consumes a lot of memory; for example, right now, with only one tab open (the one I'm typing on), it is using 430 MB.
Microsoft Edge, with one tab open, is at 220 MB.

I have run CCleaner, Malwarebytes, and RogueKiller, which found nothing.

Can you help me?

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

    Hello,
It's normal regardless of the browser.

Even with just one tab open.

      Are you sure?

Because I was worried since, with about ten tabs open, my memory was being used at over 90%, I looked into it here and there and read that it wasn't normal...

        You have proof in images.

Alright, I'll take this opportunity to ask this question that's been bothering me:
in the task manager, you can see an arrow under your browser, in yours for example, you see 5 "tabs" even though you've only opened one, what does that correspond to?

It's normal that when I returned to the topic I couldn't find it anymore, so I put it back, but then I found it and then I removed it.
It was just a mistake on my part, actually.
