Hello everyone,
I'd like to change the Bluetooth audio codec on my Huawei P30 Pro (Android 10). However, in the developer options, the "Bluetooth audio codec / Bluetooth audio sampling / Bluetooth audio resolution / etc." boxes are grayed out, so I can't change them.
Do you have a solution?
I want to try changing the audio codec because recently the sound via Bluetooth in my car has been terrible, while it used to be great ????
Thank you.

Hello,
Launch the Settings menu on your Android device.
Select System.
Tap on the About phone option.
Scroll down the page and tap on Build number seven (7) times.
Return to the System page and tap on Developer options.
Scroll through the developer options page. Locate and tap on "Bluetooth audio codec". This will reveal the available codecs supported by your device.
Select your desired Bluetooth audio codec.
Does it work?

Cause and solution:
If your Bluetooth device does not support a certain Bluetooth audio codec format, you will not be able to select the format in the Bluetooth audio codec. In this case, select a format supported by the Bluetooth device.
For the Bluetooth audio codec formats supported by the Bluetooth device, contact the device manufacturer.
For the Bluetooth audio codec formats supported by a Huawei phone, visit the official HUAWEI Consumer website to check its specifications or contact Huawei customer service.
About HWA
For certain models of HWA-compatible phones (shipped with EMUI 9.1 / Magic UI 2.1 after mid-July 2019), the HWA option is only available when connected to Bluetooth devices that support HWA 2.0 or later.
For Bluetooth devices that only support HWA 1.0, such as the HiFiMAN R2R-2000 player (contact the Bluetooth device manufacturer for confirmation), contact the Bluetooth device manufacturer or visit their official website for the firmware update guide for the device to support HWA 2.0 or later.
