Hello, I am unable to uninstall the SpyHunter5 software
I tried to follow the video, but here’s what I get:
EnigmaSoft Limited Installer:
Overall progress: 16%
Action: stopping services: 66.67%
Then after a while:
Failed to stop the EsgShKernel service
Can you enlighten me

    I have the same problem so I wanted to know if I should do the same as in your discussion, and also my Windows has blocked the .exe of frst

      /!\ Do not attempt the same FRST correction with the script intended for ritou28's PC, it's not good at all for your PC. Each PC must have its own correction file prepared by a specially trained security contributor.

      Wait for a response from a security contributor.

    Download FRST and once downloaded save it on the desktop then open it, you will have this:

    Then check the shortcut box like this:

    Click on Analyze at the end of the scan you will have three text files on the desktop FRST, Addition and Shortcut send these reports to https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ see this tutorial paragraph Send the scan reports to pjjoint then provide the three links generated by Pjoint in your next message.

      Procedure to follow in the indicated order:

      1- Open FRST
      - Select and copy the entire script that is in the box below:

      Shortcut: C:\Users\Public\Desktop\SpyHunter5.lnk -> C:\Program Files\EnigmaSoft\SpyHunter\SpyHunter5.exe (EnigmaSoft Limited)

      2- Once the script is copied, return to FRST and click on Fix.
      FRST will automatically take the script from the clipboard and execute it.
      Let the correction take place; once it’s finished, restart your computer.
      Then once your computer has restarted:
      4- You will have a Fixlog file on your desktop; send it via https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ then put the link generated by Pjoint in your next message.
      5- CHECK AND LET ME KNOW IF SPYHUNTER IS STILL PRESENT.

    Hello again, I notice that the icon for SpyHunter 5 has disappeared from the desktop, but it is still mentioned on CCleaner as well as in the control panel. If I uninstall it this time, will it work? Another question: can the .txt files and the software FRST64-2.1 be deleted from my computer?

      Yes, it still appears in the uninstall programs, but in fact, it is no longer active; it is just a remnant. The problem was the EsgShKernel service, which has been deleted. You can finish removing Spyhunter via the Control Panel or with RevoUninstaller. For FRST, you can delete the txt files and FRST64-2.1, and you can also delete the FRST folder located in C:\FRST.

        Re-hello, I would like to thank you for the perseverance and professionalism you showed in resolving my issue. Furthermore, I ran a CCleaner cleanup and now the SpyHunter 5 line has disappeared. Congratulations once again and all my compliments.
