Is the AMD Radeon R5 graphics card sufficient?

Hello,
I bought my son an Asus R540 laptop, equipped with an AMD dual-core A9, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, and an AMD Radeon R5.
He wants to play Fortnite on it.
He is experiencing a lot of bugs and can't play; what do you think could be the problem?
The connection is via Ethernet after a switch and I have fiber optics.
Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 79.0.3945.88

    Hello,
it should still work even though it's not a powerhouse:

    Fortnite System Requirements (Minimum)
    CPU: Core i3 2.4 GHz
    CPU SPEED: Info
    RAM: 4 GB
    OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
    VIDEO CARD: Intel HD 4000
    PIXEL SHADER: 3.0
    VERTEX SHADER: 3.0

Try updating the graphics card drivers and playing with the laptop plugged in, performance is better.
You need to lower the graphics options to the minimum.
Check the resource monitor or task manager to see if any component (graphics or CPU) is at its max.
But you don't have a dedicated graphics card, just the one integrated into the processor.
It's clearly not a laptop made for gaming.
