Unread message issue

Hello,

I have an unread message in my Thunderbird inbox, the problem is that I can't find it anywhere!
When I go to unread messages, it doesn't appear even though I have a notification of a message in the incoming mail. How can I find it?

    hello
    try a right click on Inbox -> properties -> repair the folder

    Hello Fred,

    You can easily find it by sorting the read/unread column in the header area (the two horizontal dots framed in red below).

    It will then appear first.

    After reading, click twice on "Date" to return to the usual display.

      That's exactly the problem; it doesn't appear anywhere in the unread (even when sorting by date, I have no messages in unread) while I have a message in the incoming mail.
