Hello community,
I have followed several of your comments without finding my solution.
I bought this TV for my mother, who is 89, in 2013.
Recently, it broke down, and I tried to find the cause without success and purchased the power board (99€) without success. The screen is still off.
In fact, when I turn it on, the red standby LED lights up, but as soon as I press the power button or change the channel, the LED turns off and the screen does not turn on. When I turn it back on, the red LED lights up again.
None of the capacitors are swollen or seem damaged as you mentioned in your messages and advice to other members. Before considering replacing the motherboard, which must be expensive, I would like your opinion. This television has been used intensively for 6 years, but the picture was very clear.
