Hello, since the Windows update yesterday, my PC won't start anymore; it is searching for my hard drives, but they are no longer recognized in the BIOS menu.
I unplugged and replugged the hard drives, but they can't be found. However, the CD drive works, if that helps.
I'm not very knowledgeable about this, which is why I'm asking for your help, thank you.

Hello
since the Windows update
from which system to which system? for example from w7 to w10?
or something else?
how did you proceed?
is your BIOS in UEFI?
is your hard drive system where the new Windows is or will be installed in MBR or GPT?

As previously mentioned, I don't know much about PCs. The system is running Windows 10. I just unplugged and plugged the PC back in. Right before seeing the message: Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key, I got a message saying: adapter 1; Disk Information: No hard disk is detected!
