RCA Universal Remote Source

Question

Hello*   I managed to program my RCA universal remote for 3 devices. Unfortunately, I am unable to select HDMI 1, 2, 3, as well as the auxiliary function on my TV. So if I want to watch a movie with my DVD player and the device is on HDMI 1 for example, I can't access the function to which my device is connected.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello and welcome to this forum,  Do you not have an "input" or "source" button on the remote, or an icon representing a rectangle with an arrow entering from the left? Otherwise, what is its complete reference?  -- I call a spade a spade *      *in French in the text

Hello Yes, I have the source button on the RCA remote, but when I press it, nothing happens on the TV, which is still turned on.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello Andy  The original remote only allows you to operate the TV from a distance. So it is impossible to program multiple devices with it. Naturally, with the INPUT function, you can switch from the DVD to others, but that forces me to use two remotes.  Thank you.

What I wanted to tell you is that the input button on your RCA remote is faulty, but there is often a possibility to teach it this function using the original remote. So give me the complete reference of this RCA remote  -- I call a cat a cat *      *in French in the text
