Find the source code with the D2 universal remote. Solved

Hello,  I bought a D2 universal remote, I believe I have managed to find the source code for my TV, but now I don't know how to proceed. My TV is connected to a livebox. Could someone please explain to me the steps to find the source code? Thank you in advance.

According to the remote control manual, the source code has been found. Personally, I don't know anything about it. I need the source code to synchronize the television with the decoder, and I can't use the remote control to do it. Is there a specific operation to perform or particular buttons to press? The manual is very sparse on this topic. That's why I'm asking for help, and I'm not sure I'm being understood correctly. But I thank you for your response.

re  in principle, it's the decoder that should be paired with the TV and not the TV with the decoder  but in this case, you would need a remote for each device  I'm not at all sure that the universal remote can be paired with the decoder  however, the remote from the decoder should be able to be paired with the TV  it depends on the TVs (brand and whether it's a smart TV for example)

re I thought I could find you an original remote control, which would have solved your problem, but the only one I found is 76 euros! (that's quite something!) In any case, the one you have is not 100% compatible with your TV, or it's still not the right code, even though the one found turned off the TV, that's all it does, so it's not good!

Yes, that's it! Cancel the current found code, then do another code search or consider changing the TV not the same budget of course.. but in the meantime you can probably use the power buttons or if you have buttons on the front or on the side?  Have you also tried virtual remote controls from your smartphone? Via Google Play you will probably find one that works, but you will have to search a bit, install and then uninstall immediately the ones that don't work.. but you will manage and at least it's free!
