Hello everyone,
I am no longer satisfied with FREE. And I want to leave them? But I want to know if when you leave Free, can you still access your email accounts or is it over; can't you access them anymore? And if so, is there a way to save all received emails? And if so, how to do it?
Thank you to the great male and female community for giving me tips on this question.

    Hello 2ert1960,

Regardless of the previous response, the best way to back up messaging information (emails and contacts) is to import them to your own PC and make backups on an external storage device. This principle applies regardless of the provider and makes messaging information independent of any provider.

After all, this information belongs to you, and there's no reason to entrust its storage to someone else! You manage it at home, just like any other personal information stored on a PC (documents, photos, music, etc.)

    Ask yourself these few questions:

Thank you WalterP for this feedback!

If, in an ideal scenario, everyone used this method, nuisances on the web (contact theft, massive spamming, blackmail, harassment, scams, etc.) would decrease dramatically (I believe by about 90%) and the web would once again become what it should be: a public space for the exchange and sharing of information, and nothing else.

Moreover, if the person who started this discussion thread used it, they wouldn't even have been on a forum to ask this kind of question because they wouldn't have any concerns about the preservation of their messaging data.

      Yes SerBal22,

A month ago I was in the same situation as our friend 2ert1960 above, which is why I opened a discussion thread on which you provided me with explanations regarding Thunderbird, which allowed me to back up my important messages on a USB drive! :) :)
