Hello everyone,
I created 2 slideshows for my family where I added several background music tracks using the "from an audio file" option. When I run the slideshow on my PC, the sound works perfectly.
However, when I tried to give it on a USB drive and run it on another PC, the slideshow works well but without sound...
Thanks in advance.

Normal! You only transfer the PowerPoint file, and not the audio files, which you neglected to include in your slideshow...

Hello,
Thank you for your responses.
I have followed the procedure: Office > Publish > Package for CD-ROM since I am using version 2007.
I did "copy to a folder" that I placed on my desktop.
In the folder, I have 22 items (the slideshow, the 6 songs, several "application extension" files, and others...)
I have just sent the PowerPoint file to another PC, but the sound is still not there...
I would like to know what to do once I have my folder with all the items, knowing that I wish to transfer it via USB stick and not via CD-ROM.
Thank you in advance.

If you don't put the 6 songs, the PowerPoint file will remain silent!
The process applies to any medium: USB stick, CD-ROM, external hard drive, etc.

Hello,
You don't mention the format of your music. If it's MP3, the easiest thing is to do a conversion as I indicate on my page (mentioned by Raymond) => MP3 Addin.
