Hello
I bought an iPhone and I would like to transfer my data. To start, I tried the method with the Apple app "Move to iOS" but it doesn't work, nothing works.
So I decided to keep only my contacts but I can't do that either with any software. I tried with Anytrans but the USB connection doesn't work either and my camera is broken so I can't read the QR code. I looked for other software like Copytrans contacts or others but again, it doesn't work. They tell me to press an "export/import" button in the contacts menu which, in my opinion, no longer exists, making it impossible to complete the operation.
I have now come up with the idea of transferring the contacts via iCloud (putting them on iCloud from my Samsung and then from iCloud to the iPhone) but I can't find anything on the internet that could explain how to do it. Does anyone have an answer?

Hello,
The cloud is a good solution for saving your contact data and accessing it on any device.
There are plenty of options, but to keep it simple, for your contacts for example, you have Google Contacts; you synchronize everything there via the app, and you retrieve it on your new smartphone.
For your notes, the same goes for OneDrive from Microsoft or Simplenote from WordPress.
Etc..

Hello,
For contacts:

With a computer, retrieve the data from the internal memory (USB cable) and recover the data stored on iCloud:

Without using a computer, you need to put the data you want to recover into compatible clouds for Android:
- Google: Google Drive (App Store application).
=> 15GB free per Gmail.
=> Recover/See data on Google Drive: https://www.google.com/drive/
- Microsoft: OneDrive (App Store application).
=> 5GB free per Microsoft account/Microsoft ID.
=> Recover/See data on OneDrive: https://onedrive.live.com/about/fr-fr/signin/
There are others, such as "Dropbox" (2GB free per email address).
Please keep me updated => "It's resolved thanks to / I found I needed" or "Still stuck"
because I often have several steps and always a trick up my sleeve!!!
