Hello,
We will soon be moving into our apartment which has a TV antenna socket in the bedroom but a fiber socket in the living room.
However, we would like the TV to be in the living room and to use a TV socket as we do not plan to get a box.
Is there a way to "transform" the fiber socket into a TV antenna one? How can we "create" a TV socket in the living room?
Thank you!
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 11.0

Hello,
No, a fiber socket cannot be used for TV (TNT) without a box. It's strange that there isn't a TV socket in the living room? Maybe the duct for the TV cable was used to bring the fiber into the living room and the TV cable was removed.
Best regards

Hello,
Actually, the building dates back to 2009 and was built with these arrangements directly (I strongly suppose so).
As a result, we feel obliged to hang a box even though we do not need it, and putting the TV in the bedroom does not please me. Nothing is working! ????
Thank you for your response.

Hello,
to install a TV socket in the living room, I suppose you’re talking about terrestrial TV, not cable, although it’s not very different. You just need to attach a TV splitter to the cable going to the bedroom socket and run it to a socket in the living room. It will take some work, but it’s doable.
Then, check if you have a communication box; that might make it easier.
