Hello,
I took a PDF document that I converted to ODT so I could edit it. Some things were removed but not all. I wanted to add a small text on a page with an image already. So I create a text box, I write, I set my font, my color, I place the image in the background, the text in the foreground, but the text just won't appear; once I click beside it, it disappears. I've been fiddling with it for 45 minutes and even though I'm used to it, I still can't see what's wrong. Any solution? Has this happened to anyone before? Thanks!

The import of a PDF is done in the drawing module (Draw), and you are talking about an ODT document from the word processor (Writer). So, I don't understand where the problem lies.
As always, attaching a document and/or screenshots helps avoid playing guessing games.
