Because F5 is just for adjusting the brightness.
Ctrl + F5 also adjusts the brightness.
So I don't know, maybe they removed this option?

Hello Glasgow-gow,
You just need to hold down the CTRL + R keys to refresh a page.
The command: CTRL + F5 is to adjust the brightness. (in your case)
