Hello,
I recently bought Assassin's Creed Odyssey on Origin, it's a game that takes up a lot of space so I installed it on an external hard drive, connected to another computer that I played on. But I'm moving to my apartment and I'm not going to take that computer since it's my brother's. So I wanted to know, if I reinstall the game on this computer which is mine (and which is clearly half as powerful), can I retrieve my save by selecting the file from my external hard drive at the time of installation. Will the installation software detect and recognize the save, or on the contrary, will it simply overwrite it to install the files again? Good question, if it's like for Assassin's Creed Origins (and the others) you will need to add the Assassin's Creed save folder to the other PC, the save folder is probably located in:
C:\Documents/username\Application Data\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed\Saved Games
If the saves are saved to the cloud, there's no need to do this. They will update automatically.
