Hello,

I have a large house over 3 levels that I rent out seasonally. Until now, I used Netgear 500 powerline adapters with RJ45, as the Wi-Fi did not work and the repeaters were ineffective. I stumbled upon the existence of Wi-Fi powerline adapters and bought some: Essentialb 500 Wi-Fi powerline adapter, one box and three plugs.
It is said that these powerline adapters are compatible!..
If I use them, I no longer have TV and vice versa.
Thank you for providing me with a solution, if possible? The problem seems to originate from Free.

Configuration: iPad / Safari 9.0

    Hi,
No, it's not Free's fault, but your incompetence.
The Free boxes are certainly connected via PLC, the freeplugs, already.
You could add PLC modems, but they need to be paired with the freeplugs in order to create a single PLC network and not two that will compete on the electrical installation and interfere with each other.
That means no new PLC modem connected to the box.
Another option: connect the Freebox units via a direct ethernet cable instead of the freeplugs.
There are also other options to avoid PLC modems, which are the worst of all.
The most expensive being a mesh Wi-Fi router network and the best is a good wired RJ45 network.

Here are some leads, but I don't use Freeplugs, which only help power the box and the TV module, but rather Netgear 500 powerline adapters since I've been with Free. The Freebox doesn't accept EssentielB wifi powerline adapters for the TV. I'm thinking of changing providers because there doesn't seem to be a solution to my level of incompetence (Peter Principle), but before that, I will try other boxes.
      Best regards

You can change your ISP if you want, but I don't think it will solve those problems...
