Hello,
In Publisher, can we disable automatic hyphenation and replace it with manual hyphenation?
Thank you for your response
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 71.0.3578.98

Hello,
You would like to cut the words as you wish, disregarding the rules...
Indeed, if you create documents that are seen and read by a whole audience, this text will carry an image and the "class" of your work... or the opposite. And without looking like it, being a bearer of success or decline...
In my opinion, it would be proper to respect the rules of French grammar... That is to say the "Hyphenation," here is a summary on the subject http://aidenet.eu/grammaire01s.htm
There you go, you do as you see fit, but I had to inform you.

My question is not resolved, but thank you for replying.

1 - Replace (Ctrl+H)
2 - Enter - in the search field
3 - Open the More panel
4 - Under Special, select Non-breaking hyphen: ^~ will appear or conditional
5 - Replace all
That said, this function is only valid with fixed-width fonts (e.g., Lucida Console)
But when using variable or proportional width fonts, with nice presentation, we use right justification... Thus, everything is aligned, on the right and on the left... and there is no hyphenation, or only for a few too long words.
Variable spacing between words on the same line in a justified paragraph where the words are not broken
This takes a bit of attention, but it also allows for a nice presentation of work..
There you go, A+++
