Hello,

I just acquired a SONY PS-LX300USB turntable and I know absolutely nothing about it.
I'd like to connect it to my Bose Companion 5 speakers, but the connections don't match between the turntable and the speakers.
I first thought about a PHONO preamplifier, but that's already integrated into the turntable.
Is there an adapter to connect the turntable (a red cable and a white cable) to these Bose speakers? Or do I have to buy speakers with the right "holes"?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can enlighten me!

    Hello,
    On the small round satellite of your speaker, you have two jack inputs, one for headphones and the other for an auxiliary input, see here:

    You just need to buy this if your turntable has an RCA cable with two male plugs at the end;

    Connect the turntable to the adapter, and the jack from the adapter to the jack input of the small satellite

      Hello, I just tried to connect a Marantz TT5005 turntable to a Bose Companion 5 system as you described, but there’s no sound coming out. Do you have any idea?
      Thank you very much!

      Are you sure you plugged it into the input (Circle with an arrow pointing in) and not the headphone jack?
      Is the pre-amplified line output of the turntable properly enabled?
