Hello,
My computer is infected with a virus that sends my files to the recycle bin without any action on my part... I restore them every day, but I can't seem to detect the virus responsible, neither with Kaspersky nor with free antivirus software like Avira, etc.
I've seen cases on the WEB of similar infections with files being sent to the recycle bin or whose content is erased when opened, but nothing like my case: there are hundreds of files disappearing from my documents and ending up in the recycle bin without me being able to do anything about it! Moreover, my computer has become so slow since this has happened that it has become unmanageable.
It's a nightmare, I don't know if I should format or if other solutions exist. Thank you in advance if anyone can lend a hand!

Such malware does not exist.
To check your computer for possible infections and to get a general status of the system:
Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking on this blue link. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).
Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the analysis is complete.
Three FRST reports will be generated:- FRST.txt
- Shortcut.
- Additionnal.txt
Send these 3 reports to the website https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return provide the 3 pjjoint links leading to the reports here in a new response so that we can review them.
(The blue links lead to step-by-step explanatory tutorials, click on them for more precise instructions to follow).

Hello, personally, this leaves me puzzled... I had to restore a total of thousands of files.
Thank you for your offer of help. I have started a disinfection process that was suggested to me on another forum. If my problem gets resolved, I will outline the steps I took here. If not, then your help will be welcome!

I know this blog is a bit outdated, but since this happened to me and I found the solution after scanning with my antivirus, looking for all possible and imaginable solutions (I'm not bad with computers) and after visiting blogs on the subject
I confirm that yes, there is no virus of this kind
so for me, it was the delete key that was stuck
I couldn't open a file without it being thrown in the trash
and I couldn't separate my web pages

Have you tried cCleaner and adwCleaner? These are two software programs that could help you clean your PC.
