Of course it's possible, and fortunately so!! :)
Normally, the format of the slides (including bullet points) should be set in the master slide.
Start by displaying the ruler if it is not visible (View tab).
Then select the text, and on the ruler you will see two small triangles on the left; you need to drag the lower triangle to the left.
You can also do it through the dialog box: Home tab, Paragraph group. Click on the dialog launcher (the small square at the bottom right of the Paragraph group). In the dialog box, change the value of the hanging indent.
