Hello everyone,

Beware of the scam...

I received a text message from Auchan today.
Great, I’ve won a gift worth nearly €800.
I’m curious so I check it out. ;)
I answer a questionnaire of 7 to 8 questions and then I submit it.
I choose my gift, a Samsung S9 or an iPhone X (of course) for €1.
So far, so good.
The validation leads me to a site to identify myself and register, but only through an email address and a password. Strange, normally any decent site at least requires a password confirmation. Anyway, I’m really curious, I go for it, I want my Samsung S9...
After validating the email and password, I’m asked to enter my first and last name and postal code, then directly to enter my credit card numbers. But why is that? Oh right, it’s for the symbolic €1, I tell myself, but I still have a little doubt.
The site even makes us believe that the card data will confirm the shipping address. They are really clever.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS!!!

I redid the test three times and I won three Samsung S9s anyway. I even tried with fake email addresses, it works too.

I hope this message helps some people.

Have a great day everyone.

I really don't understand how people still fall for this kind of trap.
