Black screen after AMD graphics card update Solved

Hello,  I'm briefly explaining my situation, as this problem is known on Google, but I can't find a case like mine to resolve it. Here is a link (forum) that discusses the same issue regarding the black screen after updating the AMD graphics driver from the manufacturer's site:  https://www.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-35468790-ecran-noir-apres-mise-a-jour-carte-graphique  Detailed explanation of my case:  1 - I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, I wanted to upgrade my Windows 7 to Windows 10 = black screen (I’ve lost count of the number of attempts, I spent hours in front of the PC...). 2 - I restored the system = no issues. 3 - Disturbed by why I can't install Windows 10, I ultimately formatted my main disk C. 4 - I went ahead and installed Windows 10 having left only my formatted disk C connected, I disconnected the other disks = Upon booting Windows 10 "Hello," a black screen and therefore no graphical display. 5 - I searched online, I found the issue of a failing graphics card, no problem, I am in CrossfireX, I decided to remove my graphics card and replace it with my second graphics card, resulted in the same issue, still a black screen.... 6 - I took the reins again and reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate = OK complete update and service pack 1 = OK 7 - I installed the driver for my 2 AMD RADEON HD 6990 graphics cards that I found on the manufacturer's site and the automatic detection software = after reboot 2 seconds OK then blue screens (sometimes) and black screens. 8 - I searched on Google and I understand that it’s indeed the AMD driver versions that no longer work and that provide us with unstable drivers.... 9 - I tested version 10.2 = black screen then version 10.11 if I'm not mistaken = black screen...  I specify:  With each reinstallation of the AMD drivers, I do an uninstallation, then I use drivers-weeper to clean up the remains, and finally CCleaner to clean my Windows 7 registry.  If someone kind has encountered this issue and knows which version should be installed on Windows 7 Ultimate, it would greatly help me because I am getting fed up.... Hello,  Go to Start In the Search bar Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.  Give the device identification number of the problematic device (standard VGA card) Look at this --> Find a device's identification number Post the number in your next message.

Hello,  1 - For the next steps, I installed my second graphics card and there are no particular issues because Windows 10 detected that my graphics card has a problem and disabled it.    2 - I'm having a sound issue with my 360 GAMER PC headset with a jack input, so there are no drivers for this device, but let's set that problem aside.    3 - Regarding my sound problem, when I tried to install the drivers for my motherboard, I got a black screen again...  I think my graphics card is faulty and that trying to install the motherboard drivers caused the faulty graphics card slot to trigger my black screen.  As for the sound, I also believe that not being able to install the motherboard drivers is causing a malfunction.  Any ideas are welcome... Otherwise, I think I won't pursue this topic further due to lack of time; the main thing is that I can work on it.  Thank you

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits  Start by installing these 2 drivers: Unzip them Run setup.exe --> Chipset --> Audio  For the graphics card, try this driver --> AMD Right-click on --> whql-.......exe Select --> 7Zip Choose --> extract to "whql-.......\"  Go to Device Manager Right-click on the device Update driver Search for a driver on my computer Choose from a list of drivers... Have Disk Browse Go to the folder of the unzipped driver --> whql-....... Folder --> Packages Folder --> Drivers Folder --> Display Folder --> WB6A_INF Select the file --> C7319530.inf and OK. Set the Realtek audio speakers as default. Is the green cable properly plugged into the right port (green jack) at the back of the PC?  Fix for the AMD driver, here is the link --> AMD 302 mb   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

Ouch, this kind of thing has never happened to me But I advise you to install the latest stable driver you can get I hope you're plugging your cable into the graphics card port and not the motherboard one xD?

In the Device Manager: What do you have in graphics cards?  For audio: Go to Start In the search bar Type --> services.msc and OK.  Check that the Windows Audio service is started and set to automatic in the startup type.  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  You cannot set the Realtek audio speakers as default, can you?

Hello!  Well, I think I'm reaching the end of this topic, the problem doesn't seem to be with the drivers, I did the following last night:  1 - checked the cables connected to the motherboard (it's OK). 2 - reformatted one of my hard drives and disabled all other peripherals (OK). 3 - reinstalled Windows 7 and surprise, still no sound (KO).  The motherboard is still under warranty, so I'm going to send it in for warranty service; otherwise, here is the model of my board as well as an image that shows the rear panel of my headphone input, for example, and for the connection to the pins, it's for the front panel of my PC (at the front), my speakers for example.
