Hello,

I just bought a Lexmark CX517de printer, and I connected it to my router via an Ethernet cable and with the other cable for the phone.

I can print, but I cannot send scans to my email. A page comes out titled "Scanning to email failed," and in the details, there's this line:
Connection failure: <-7>

For the main SMTP address, I set "smtp.gmail.com" because that's what I see in my settings on Thunderbird.

But I probably don't understand anything,

What should I put as the address?

Sorry, I couldn't find anything by looking online,

Thank you in advance,

Have a great evening,

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 62.0

Hi,
it's better to use your ISP's SMTP server.
SMTP is often blocked towards other servers.

Great, thank you!

Well, now I have the paper that comes out and says mail sent (by the way, I need to find the setting to stop it from printing a report with every scan), but I'm not receiving the emails, I've checked the spam, they're not there, it's been about two hours since they were sent, is that normal?

No, it should happen sooner.
However, you should receive a message back from the SMTP saying that there is a problem.
Mail delivery ....
